Based in Belfast, and born in Dublin, my artwork is influenced by my surroundings and my history.
On my daily journeys I stumble on inspirations for my artwork. The dimming light of the day giving way to the spark of street lights which highlights different hues and shades.
My mark-making is a direct nod to my previous experience as a handloom weaver and textile designer, using my muscle memory of weaving to create warp and weft brushmarks.
The overall affect gives my work a textural and woven feel.
